San Miguel Beer, the world’s renowned premium lager was first established in 1890. It is the first brewery in Southeast Asia. In Hong Kong, we have been brewing quality beer since 1948, first in our brewery in Sham Tseng and now in Yuen Long. To date, San Miguel Brewery is the only international beer company having a large scale brewery in Hong Kong. Only three years after we established our brewery in Hong Kong, the brewery won the 1st prize at the 1952 International Brewers’ Exhibition in London for its San Miguel Pale Pilsen. Since then, the products from our brewery have been garnering international awards right and left. From this same brewery, San Miguel Pale Pilsen, San Mig Light, San Miguel Cerveva Negra, San Miguel Cerveza Blanca, Blue Ice Beer and Red Horse Beer are carefully crafted for quality and taste. Our Yuen Long brewery has also exported around the world, in countries like Australia, Canada, Denmark, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, U.S.A. and United Kingdom.
Apart from locally-brewed beer, we also carry a comprehensive portfolio of other well-known international beer and cider brands such as Kirin beer, Little Creatures, Samuel Adams, Mahou Cinco Estrellas, Spitfire, Angry Orchard, Blackthorn, Whitstable Bay, Arcobräu, and Magners.
